Registration for the 2013 Finger Lakes Fifties has reached the limit of 250 runners for all three distances combined (25k, 50k, 50 mile). Registration for the WAITLIST is open. Individuals will be taken from the waitlist as cancellations come in and openings are available - individuals will be taken in order of the date they came onto the waitlist, not by the race distance (so say you were #1 on the 50 mile list on on Ultra Signup, if someone entered on the 25k list on a date before you, they would be chosen first). UltraSignup maintains waitlist entrants in order by race distance; waitlist entrants in order of date of entry onto the waitlist will be found on this site). PLEASE NOTE: Although UltraSignup asks for your credit card information when you sign up for the waitlist, you DO NOT pay prior to getting off of the waitlist. If you are chosen from the waitlist and ACCEPT the invitation, only then will your credit card be charged. Also, if you are chosen from the waitlist and decline the invitation, your card will not be charged.

WHERE'S THE FOOD?

REMINDER: There is NO pre-race meal. Here are some options that are relatively close to the race site for pre-race fuelling.

To Watkins Glen from Potomac Campsite:
When you leave the Potomac Campsite driveway, turn LEFT (you will be on Potomac Road)
When you get to the STOP sign, turn RIGHT onto Picnic Area Road
Stay on this road until you reach RT 414
Turn LEFT onto RT 414
When you reach the STOP sign, bear RIGHT and go downhill into Watkins Glen

To Trumansburg from Potomac Campsite:
When you leave Potomac Campsite driveway, turn RIGHT (you will be on Potomac Road)
When you get to the STOP sign, turn RIGHT onto Searsburg Road
Follow Searsburg Road for 6.7 miles to the STOP sign
At the STOP sign, turn LEFT onto RT 227
At the next STOP sign (approx 3/10 mile), take a RIGHT . . . you are in Trumansburg

If you need any additional supplies of food, drink, other miscellaneous items . . . continue on RT 96 going toward Ithaca and you will find the Shur Save grocery store.
