There will be NO RUNNER PARKING in the Potomac Group Campground parking lot on Friday or Saturday. This lot is reserved for Wilderness Search and Rescue and race vehicles only.
In addition, there will be NO PARKING allowed in the drive entrance to the Potomac Group Campground parking lot. Parking will be available on Potomac Road only. The forest roads are narrow and parking MUST BE LIMITED TO ONE SIDE OF THE ROAD.
Parking on both sides of the road creates major safety hazards as well as violates the terms of our permit for use of the forest for the event. Emergency vehicles, race vehicles, and general public use vehicles must be able to utilize the road while the race is going on.
NO PARKING signs will be posted along one side of the road. Please follow these instructions . . . our continued use of the Finger Lakes National Forest for this event depends heavily on us following safety rules.
Car poolling is highly encouraged.
Vehicles parked in "No Parking" zones will be towed at the owner's expense ... and after running all day it would really suck to find your vehicle gone!!
********** Due to the number of cars that will be parked along the road, you may have to park some distance from the race registration area. Please make sure that you arrive early on race day to account for this.
